2016 Bentley GT3-R

2016 is finally here – and that also means the 2016 Bentley Continental GT3-R is here as well. Some claim it to be the sportiest Bentley ever, and while that will be up to you to decide, it’s not a very far-off assumption.

The 2016 Bentley GT3R features an Audi-sourced twin-turbo 4.0 liter V8, giving the engine 572 hp and 533 lb-ft of torque. It’s a powerful car, to be sure, with a base in an Audi all-wheel-drive chassis to make sure all the power and control is there when you need it. Not quite enough so far? Don’t worry. An over boost function within the car allows you to make the jump to 592 hp for 15 seconds. Definitely enough to get the heart pumping and draw a few shouts of excitement from passengers. Throughout it all, this new Bentley has the capability to go from 0-60 in just 3.3 seconds.

At first look, it’s a stunning car. Inspired by the Bentley GT3, the Bentley GT3R hangs on to a lot of its heritage in terms of design and ability. From the wide front grille to the slick piping down the sides, it’s the kind of car that will take you time to decide upon when it comes to creating the perfect color combination and interior choices. From 21-inch black wheels to the gorgeous and supremely comfortable leather seats, everything about this new Bentley speaks of care and hand-craftsmanship.
