When Bentley announced its first (and thus far, only) SUV, interest was piqued. When the Bentayga rolled out, expectations were exceeded – and drivers thrilled – with the powerful, sleek, and performance-oriented sports utility vehicle. It has been one of the iconic brand’s most popular models in recent years. Deciding it was time for a little refresh, the 2021 Bentley Bentayga V8 delivers everything we’ve grown to love, and then some.
Bentley didn’t need to do much to update the beloved Bentayga. We are going to see some exterior and interior tweaks. These include new round headlights with a cut crystal design, a larger grille, an athletic front bumper with spoiler, a higher, longer fender vent, sleek oval tail lights with the cut crystal design, and oval exhaust outlets. The exterior was not the Bentayga’s strongest point, and Bentley is addressing this with these updates. At the same time, they won’t make older models look… well, older.
What can we expect inside? Some small, but well-thought-out, changes make an elegant impact. These include thin, horizontal upper air vents, a larger, more integrated infotainment system (10.9 inches), more legroom, available rear air vents, and a larger touchscreen remote. As always, you can count on buttery soft leather, handcrafted wood trim, and your choice of exceptional colors.
The new Bentayga V8 First Edition excels performance-wise as well. It boasts two twin-scroll turbochargers in the advanced V8 engine that generate 542 BHP, 770 Nm max torque, and a top speed of 180 miles per hour. This powerful beast is also efficient with a range of 455 miles.
With some strategic updates, the 2021 Bentley Bentayga V8 promises to satisfy the discerning driver’s every need.
