2022 Bentley Flying Spur Mulliner

Bentley has just announced that its 2022 four-door Flying Spur Mulliner will have a new trim, which will hopefully attract more buyers for one of the world’s top luxury cars. The new Bentley Flying Spur Mulliner is sure to impress. Like all Bentley’s, it will have a host of upgrades and accessories that have not been unavailable in previous models.

The Bentley Flying Spur Mulliner trim package represents the very best of the Flying Spur models. Some of the features of this package deal include a “double diamond” front grille with the iconic illuminated Flying B and huge 22-inch wheels. To maintain the aesthetics, the lower grille has been finished in chrome, while satin silver will adorn the side mirror caps. And to make the new Bentley Flying Spur stand out even more, the center of each wheel will come with self-leveling caps that will keep the Bentley “B” logo upright at all times. 

Customers will have the option of selecting from several innovative themed packages, such as Storm Noir, Cool Harmony, or Alter Ego. In addition, there is an exhaustive list of styling choices and colors for the exterior.

Apart from the dignified exterior, however, it is the interior that is more captivating. As with all Bentleys, the Bentley Flying Spur Mulliner will rejuvenate your senses with high-end leather, combined with silver metal accents fraternizing with top-notch technology. 

Like the exterior, buyers will have at least half a dozen three-tone color combos to choose from to furnish the cabin. Irrespective of the color combo, the interior will feature Bentley’s unique quilting diamond in diamond pattern.

The interior also has the rear and center consoles paired with an LED instrument panel, complete with a distinctive diamond-milled finish, which is solely dedicated to the Mulliner trim.

As with previous flying spurs, the Bentley Flying Spur Mulliner will also have the rotating Bentley signature display and a state-of-the-art infotainment center. For the passengers in the rear bucket seat, the new Bentley Flying Spur comes with fold-out tables that are electrically operated with a simple push of a button as well as heated armrests. There is also a remote touchscreen in the rear that allows rear-seated passengers to adjust settings without having to ask the driver.

Passengers will be able to connect to Wi-Fi hotspots and the Mulliner also has Apple Carplay that is compatible with smartphones. A 10-speaker stereo system comes standard.

There is a spacious cargo area for luggage, and, in case you decide to go for a picnic, a mini-refrigerator will be available to hold your champagne.

The Engine

The Mulliner offers several choices when it comes to the engine type. You can choose the 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8, the 6.0 L twin-turbo W12, or the latest hybrid V6 powertrain, with its 14.1 kWh battery pack. All Flying Spurs come with an eight-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission, all-wheel drive, and a powerful twin-turbocharged engine. But no matter which model you select, the Flying Spur is fast, with the 12-cylinder reaching 0-60 mph in just 3.7 seconds. 

On the road, the Bentley Flying Spur Mulliner is agile, steady, and very responsive. When you purchase a Bentley, the last thing you worry about is fuel efficiency; however, in this case, you will get 12 mpg in the city and 19 mpg on the highway. The manufacturer does offer several driver assistance packages but they are at an extra cost.

The Cost

The base price of the new Bentley Flying Spur is $208,000. Add in the accessories and upgrades and you are looking at a luxury car that will cost around $400,000. The manufacturer does offer a three-year warranty and there is no mileage limit.
