Great Year for Bentley Power on Ice

Bentley is more than proud to showcase just what their cars are capable of. And why wouldn’t they? Every Bentley has something special to offer, but they’re all made with the same great care and attention to detail that ensure a smooth, trustworthy ride. The Bentley Power on Ice event is a themed exhibition to show the power and grip that a Bentley can provide. And this year was spectacular.

Held upon the frozen lakes of Finland, over 200 participants took the wheels of the Bentley Continental GT3-R and the Bentley Mulsanne Speed. They slid and spun over the ice with impressive precision and took to the track with amazing ease. The track itself was designed by Juha Kankkunen, a 4-time WRC champion. Atop six feet of ice, it’s quite amazing to watch Bentleys with studded tires grasp the ice and make quick turns and sharp movements to leave behind nothing more than white tracks of “I’ve been here in a Bentley.”

Bentley’s Power on Ice lasted for four days, giving everyone a chance to have a grand time at the wheel, all while being toasty warm in heated seats with the added comfort of climate control in the cabin. Of course, if you weren’t cruising over the ice, you could also snowboard, ice kart, or go on a husky sled adventure at night and have dinner at a historic reindeer farm.

Two places at Bentley Power on Ice were donated as a part of the charity, Cars2Save, which has a goal of improving hospice and palliative care across the globe. Winners got to head to Finland and drive with Juha Kankkunen, and enjoy this once-in-a-lifetime experience. It’s certainly something they will never forget.
