Don’t Worry, We’re Still Building Sedans

For many years now, whispers of a Bentley SUV crossover have been floating through the car world and lingering on the internet. These rumors – and hopes! – were finally confirmed when plans were revealed for the 2017 Bentley Bentayga. This will be Bentley’s very first SUV design as it follows in the footsteps of other fellow luxury car creators like Porsche, BMW, and Audi.

But that’s no reason to panic. Bentley recently calmed luxury auto enthusiasts by stating that there was no need to worry about the loss of some of its flagship vehicles – particularly the Mulsanne. Bentley knows that the popularity of such a car means that it will – and should be – made until the desire finally wanes…if it ever does. Until then, Bentley assures everyone that they are still building sedans, and indeed, the Mulsanne for certain.

In fact, the new Bentley Mulsanne just appeared on the radar, with a variety of cosmetic changes, as well as technological improvements. Every year the Mulsanne gets just a little bit better (although diehard fans of past Mulsanne cars may argue with you on that point).

Knowing that the new Bentley Mulsanne has a secure future with the marque gives everyone a chance to relax and take a closer look at the 2017 Bentley Bentayga. A single look at it clearly reveals it to be of Bentley design. Available in dozens of amazing colors, it sports a 6.0 liter W-12 600 hp engine twin turbo, 8-speed automatic transmission with overdrive, 4-wheel anti-lock brakes, and much more. You can find a lot of classic Bentley elements blended in with brand new features. It will be interesting to drive, to say the least, and many people will be thrilled when it finally comes out.
The next question is: will he 2017 Bentley Bentayga be such a hit that it has the staying power of the Mulsanne?
