2018 Bentley Continental GT Getting Closer to its Reveal

People are quite eager when it comes to seeing what the world’s top luxury marque will do next. Fortunately, we are inching closer to the reveal of the new Bentley Continental GT model, and this highly anticipated iteration has sophisticated owners on the edge of their seats. The brand is beginning to reveal glimpses of the 2018 Bentley Continental GT, and as you would expect, it is going to be a rare beauty.

The 2018 Bentley Continental GT will be a second generation vehicle, not just a generous revamp. A few cheeky spy photos caught glimpses of the new Bentley Continental GT model – or at the very least, a few possibilities. A coupe and convertible took a few laps around their track, no doubt testing how all the new components work together. How does it drive? How does it feel on the road? Is shifting seamless? Do the interior controls feel intuitive? These basic questions, and no doubt many, many more, are being answered behind closed doors, leaving the rest of us to watch, wait, and wonder.

Spy shots took in such things like a soft top for the convertible and a potentially wider stance – although those could change before its launch. After all, such things as canvas roofs can be surprisingly misleading, rather than just be the average soft top one might expect.

Right now we can expect the new GT model to appear later in 2017 as a 2018 model, though that might do little to calm one’s excitement over all the possibilities. Bentley is still testing as of now, so in the end we’ll have to wait for their final and ultimate reveal – hopefully at a show that arrives sooner rather than later.
