How do you celebrate 100 years of incredible cars? Bentley does it with a limited production run of 100 of its very finest motorcars.
The Bentley Mulsanne car celebrates and honors Walter Owen Bentley. The founder of the company began work on a new sporting tourer in 1919. Inside each of the limited edition Mulsannes will be displayed a slice of the crankshaft from W.O. Bentley’s personal 8 litre car.
Honoring Rarity
For a limited production run, there is a lot of flexibility here. Each of the three Mulsanne models is available, but the W.O. Editions will each be appointed differently. Callbacks to a bygone era will give the Mulsanne W.O. edition a rare air of class and quality.
The interior color will be split and covered with Fireglow Heritage and Fireglow hide. The elegant interior is designed with a 1930s theme in mind, down to the cocktail cabinet (or bottle cooler, if you wish). The detailing is Beluga hide with a dark stain burr walnut veneer. You can go all out with lambswool rugs, glass tumblers, privacy curtains, and rear seat entertainment. Nothing is held back in making this the most luxurious and finest take on the Bentley Mulsanne car available.
A Striking Exterior
The exterior carries that aesthetic through with Onyx exterior paintwork (though you can choose other colors), Beluga black wheels, a chrome strip running down the center of the hood, the Flying B logo, and a full-chrome grille optional. There’s even a badge at the bottom of the fenders that features W.O. Bentley’s signature.
The original Bentley was the most powerful car in Britain when it was sold. It had a 220 horsepower, inline-six engine and could go as fast as 100 mph. Those are amazing measures for a time when even owning a car was a luxury, and not a daily necessity. Of course, the Mulsanne produced today boasts a 505 horsepower twin-turbocharged, 6.75-liter V8 and a top speed of 190 mph.
The limited production run of W.O. edition Bentley Mulsannes is everything you’ve come to expect from Bentley, and so much more. It’s luxurious, powerful, and also honors the brave vision of driving that still pushes Bentley forward to this day.
