What would you think if we told you that a group of Russians turned a Continential GT into a tank? What if we told you that a Spanish design house transformed the Bentley Bentayga into an off-roader?

Bentleys are known for being the top of the top of the food chain when it comes to luxury vehicles. That’s why it’s fairly surprising when we find folks who takes one of these amazing machines and transforms it into – well, something else. Take the Bentley Bentayga and the Continental GT. Both vehicles are known for their prestige, quality, powerful engines and smooth ride. So – why the tank and off-roader?

The Bentley Ultratank, as the German group is calling it, is the body of a Continental GT with the wheels removed. In their place is an external system that allows for tank tracks. The doors are removed as well in order to allow for easy access into the vehicle. The tank can go over 30 mph and can easily climb over cars, as evidenced in the YouTube video that shows the tank’s abilities.

Then there is the Bentley Bentayga that has been transformed into an off-road vehicle. The Bentayga is one of the most luxurious, and exclusive, SUVs on the market today. It isn’t known, however, for being the most aggressive vehicle off the road. Enter the Bengala Automotive Design SL.

This Spanish company does high-end makeovers but only do around 15 units for each makeover. They transformed the Bentayga into an off-roader by making room for large, specialty tires, as well as changing the suspension and adding a roof mounted light bar and some extra external protection. So while it’s very unlikely that we’ll see any of our customers transforming their Bentleys into these mean machines, it’s fun to see what the possibilities are!
