Bentley Mulliner Bespoke Bentayga Space Edition

Bentley has built a Space Edition version of the 2022 Bentley Mulliner Bespoke Bentayga. This bespoke model is unique in many ways and only built at the request of a customer. The entire theme of the luxury car revolves around outer space and the solar system.

CUSTOM DESIGNED

For those who have the money, Bentley can build almost any custom model that you wish. Someone did commission the brand’s in-house design division, Mulliner, to custom design a space-themed version of the Bentayga Speed.

BENTAYGA SPACE EDITION

What does the Space Edition of Bentayga bring to the table? First, it is powered by a W12 twin-turbocharged engine that generates 626 hp that will power the beast from 0 to 60 mph in just 3.5 seconds. This is amazing for a mammoth car that weighs nearly 5,672 pounds.

During the daytime, the Bentayga Mulliner Bespoke Bentayga Space Edition has no obvious references to the solar system, but come dusk, the glossy black SUV appears striking, especially against the backdrop of the night sky. 

The interior color of the Bentayga Space Edition reflects space and the night sky. In addition, the black satin speaker grilles with their illuminated badges are meant to mimic stars in the solar system. Another detail that mimics the planets in the solar system is the illuminated design in the doorsill. And that is not all!  The vivid orange accents at the base of the steering wheel and shaft lever reflect solar eruptions or comet dust trails.

By utilizing Mulliner’s personal commissioning guide, the resulting Bentayga Space Edition is one fine piece of stunning craftsmanship.

The manufacturer has combined a variety of shades, including subtle greenish tones to generate a heavy dark exterior. In addition, the use of orange flame shades on the glossy carbon fiber represents comet dust trails speeding in the night sky.

The interior of the Bentayga Speed is just heavenly. The entire cabin is gracefully crafted, but what catches the eye are the illuminated treadplates mimicking the planets when opening the doors. And even more divine is the dashboard with its orange accents surrounded by the Galaxy Stone fascias. Everywhere there is a contrast between the dark gray and the orange accents.

To generate a visual of the night sky, the cabin is trimmed in the colors, “Porpoise” and “Beluga”. Discreetly hidden in the shadows are the esoteric satin black speaker grilles. And to make the comet trails even more dramatic, large splashes of orange can be found on the floor mats, seat edges, and driver seat.

The aim was to create the inside of a car that appeared infinite, timeless, and serene. In 2022 alone, Bentley’s personalization division Mulliner completed over eight dozen requests for unique car designs, double the number from 2021. The wealthy customer of today wants a unique car that stands out and is willing to pay for the cost of personalization. The key reason why there has been a rise in personalized Bentleys is the unique craftsmanship skills and creativity among the division that designed the Bentley Mulliner Bespoke Bentayga.
