New Bentley Azure Range: What Makes it Stand Out

Bentley has long been known for serious comfort over the course of a long ride, and they’re working to enhance that reputation with their new Bentley Azure range. Available on all its luxury cars including the Flying Spur, Bentayga, and Continental GT, the focus is on relaxation and comfort using a variety of different features.

Every Bentley in the Azure range will come equipped with ‘Front Seat Comfort’ specifications that will blow you away. The seats will have both heating and cooling features for passengers and drivers as well as adjustable side bolsters to improve posture and will come with at least six massage options. All seats will utilize the Bentleys’ traditional comfort headrests to make the journey pleasant and fun. 

To further ensure a comfortable ride, each comes with a 48-volt active anti-roll system that is designed to decouple roll bars and secure an extra smooth ride.

The Touring Specification is not standard in all vehicles, but all Azure range models will offer it. This system will offer several driver assistance features that include the following:

• Lane Departure Warning
• Adaptive Cruise Control
• Traffic Jam Assist
• The Bentley Safeguard Bundle (this includes emergency lane change assist, automatic emergency braking, and much more). 

Bentley is hoping that having multiple driver assistance systems will make the road trip safer and smoother.

There is more to the Azure system, too. To understand the relationship between texture, colors, tactility, scent, and motion, Bentley experts consulted with scientists on how to develop the ultimate atmosphere of serenity and relaxation. It is well established that certain colors, shapes, and forms can stimulate the brain through the release of endorphins, which also impart a sense of well-being and happiness. All Azure range models use fabrics that will be used to enhance the touch senses will include Koa, Crown Cut Walnut, and Dark Walnut- which have been shown to induce a sensation of calmness.

Bentley has also designed distinct 22-inch wheels for the Azure models and all will feature chrome front grilles.

 Each model has an added sill plate with the word ‘AZURE’ printed as well as the term ‘azure’ embroidered on the seats and the headrest.
