Saddle up, because Bentley is about to showcase their high-performance, frontal-engine, double-seat sports GT concept model. Unveiling this concept racing car at the Geneva Motor Show, people will get a first-hand look at how this idea has developed and what they can expect from it as time goes on.
So far it’s believed that the Bentley racing car is going to be powerful enough to go head-to-head with other brands like Aston Martin and Ferrari. It will include a specially designed Audi-sourced 500 bhp 4.0-litre twin turbo V8. But what’s the reasoning behind creating such a car? Especially when Bentley is so well known among luxury car folk and fellow brands as just that – luxury and beauty. The word is that Bentley is looking to see the reactions of customers against such a new concept. It first came up in 2014 and has since only gained traction to what we now see.
It’s been suggested that rather than being placed below the Continental GT, this new Bentley racing car will instead be placed right alongside it. So what’s the name of this new concept car? Dubbed the Bentley EXP 10 Speed 6 Concept, it’s low-slung with a classic long-hood design – absolutely Bentley styled. It’s certainly sportier than anything Bentley has delivered before, with the interior remaining as plush as ever. Though Bentley didn’t release any performance specifications, it would be a shock if, after the positive feedback they’ve received so far, they don’t end up putting it into production.
Until then, the rest of us will have to satisfy ourselves with current beautiful Bentley models. You can see these models at the Braman Bentley dealership in Palm Beach – part of the Braman Motorcars family. They may not be made to race down the road at breakneck speed, but then there’s nothing wrong with getting from point A to point B in total style, comfort, and the ultimate in luxury.
